Leap Frog for Comic Relief

Last Friday over twenty teams entered for the big Comic Relief Leap Frog Relay Jump off.
Teams of three took it in turn to see how fast they could complete the course on the all weather pitch at break and lunch time. Some teams were also in fancy dress which added to the sense of occasion.
After a very close contest the top three teams were decided and awarded their certificates and prizes at the Business Meeting today.

In Third place with a time of 16.82 seconds were The PUPPIES

In Second place with a time of 16.34 seconds were EMOJO STARBUCKS

The winners in 15.37 seconds were the EMMIES who also won a comic relief nose each! 

Earth Hour

Eco Club announced at the Business Meeting the school plan to support the tenth anniversary of Earth Hour. Every day this week everyone in school would be encouraged to switch off their lights from 2.00-3.00pm. They would also take meter readings to check what impact this has on the school's energy use.

P4E take part in Dragons Den

Highlands and Islands Enterprise recently organised a Dragons Den style competition for Social Enterprise projects in school. P4E's Papdale's Peedie Helpers project took part and were presented with their certificate earlier this week recognising all their hard work.

Some new arrivals for World Book Day

It seems that the children (and adults) at Papdale need no encouragement to dress up judging by todays celebration of World Book Day.
There were lots of new faces and some new species on show as the pictures below prove.
