The Gilmour Shield Primary Football Competition was the perfect opportunity to show off Papdales new football kits. The kits which all have different variations on the school colours, blue and yellow, have kindly been sponsored by four local businesses, Highland Industrial Supplies, Lows Orkney, Nobilia Kitchens (Kelly Scott) and Papdale Stores with a fifth strip purchased by the Parent Council.
On this occasion Papdale didn't manage to get a team through to the final but they were the best dressed teams in the competition and everyone had a very enjoyable time.
Photos of three of the four teams who played in the Gilmour Shield are shown below. The kit sponsored by Highland Industrial Supplies will be used by the children when the Pupils play staff on the last week of term- blog to follow!
